    Fire Fighter is a fire-resistant embroidery thread that was developed for fire and safety. Applications include aeronautics, utility services, motorsports and other fields where safety standards are required.

    Fire Fighter flame resistant machine embroidery thread is made from 100% Aramid which contains Nomex® branded fibers from Dupont. Madeira’s Fire Fighter embroidery thread complies with ISO standards ISO-6941, ISO 15025 and DIN EN ISO 11612 D + E. It is Oeko-Tex® certified to be free from harmful substances.

    Fire Fighter Embroidery Thread Family Specifications:

    • Colors: 24 Solid Colors
    • Digitization: Average 4.0 density 
    • Recommended Needle: #75/11 or #80/12
    • Available In: #40 2,735 yard cones and 1,100 yard spools.
    • Oeko-Tek® certified to be free from harmful substances. 
    • 100% Aramid 

    For applications requiring Fire Fighter embroidery thread, it is recommended that fire-resistant backing and bobbin thread also be used.
